Manfa'at Al-Ijarah Menurut Perspektif Fiqh Empat Mazhab

Abstract

Al Ijarah is an important transaction in contemporary Islamic economy and financial activities. Among the element of al Ijarah which is agreed upon by the Muslim jurists is manfa'ah. This article focuses on the conceptual study of manfa'ah as discussed by the Muslim scholars which covers aspects of manfa`ah that have been a subject of discussion among the jurists in the four schools of law. It is found out that though there is agreement among the Muslim jurists in terms of conditions of manfa'ah in al Ijarah there are still disagreements among them in term of its` application.
